Rolex SA seeks R&D Technician for prototype dial assembly in Geneva. CFC qualification required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute complete prototype dial assembly including decal application by manual and production methods
  • Assemble appliqués and counters onto dials using manual and mechanized riveting techniques
  • Apply luminescent material to appliqués and dial surfaces
  • Perform appliqué setting operations
  • Bond mother-of-pearl, meteorite, gemstones, and exotic materials to dial components
  • Participate in design consultation with constructors and project managers to optimize dial conception
  • Develop assembly process routines aligned with the team's technical capabilities
  • Communicate new product assembly methods to industrialization and production partners
  • Maintain active technological surveillance within the horological sector

Qualifications

  • CFC (Swiss Federal Diploma) in dial engraving, jewelry, or equivalent training in dial assembly
  • Demonstrated expertise in decal application and appliqué positioning
  • Proficiency with standard office software (MS Office), SAP, and/or Kheops
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and precision in handling dial components
  • Dynamic, positive, and open-minded mindset to support organizational change and foster innovation
  • Strong collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills and capacity for autonomous work

Experience
