Rolex R&D Technician position in Bienne, Switzerland. Cleanroom microfabrication specialist required for research and development department.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute cleanroom operations and microfabrication procedures including cleaning, deposition, photolithography, and etching processes
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, cleanliness, and traceability requirements at all times
  • Operate process equipment according to established protocols and formulations
  • Prepare and handle semiconductor components, consumables, and tooling required for testing and fabrication
  • Complete monitoring documentation and input operational data into IT systems to guarantee full traceability
  • Perform first-level maintenance and uphold cleanroom hygiene and contamination control standards

Qualifications

  • CFC (Federal Diploma of Apprenticeship) or equivalent in laboratory technology, polymechanics, automation, electronics, or related discipline
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cleanroom protocols, contamination control, safety protocols, and documentation requirements
  • Experience or strong interest in microfabrication processes and silicon substrate handling
  • Familiarity with thin-film processes, photolithography, etching, or metrology techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to working in demanding technological environments
