Rolex R&D Dial Assembly Technician position in Geneva. Lead dial prototype assembly with expertise in transfers, appliqués, and exotic materials.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute dial transfers manually and via production machinery
  • Assemble appliqués and counters through manual and mechanized riveting techniques
  • Apply luminescent materials to appliqués and dial surfaces
  • Perform appliqué setting operations
  • Bond mother-of-pearl, meteorite, precious stones, and exotic materials to dial surfaces
  • Collaborate with Design Engineers and Project Managers on prototype conception strategies
  • Develop assembly specifications consistent with team capabilities and expertise
  • Communicate new product innovations and assembly methodologies to Industrialization and Production partners
  • Maintain active technological surveillance and awareness within the dial assembly domain

Qualifications

  • Federal Certificate of Vocational Training (CFC) in dial design, jewelry-making, or equivalent qualification in dial assembly
  • Demonstrated expertise in transfer application and appliqué installation
  • Proficiency with standard office software (MS Office), SAP, and/or Kheops systems
  • Manual dexterity and comfort handling dial components
  • Positive, dynamic mindset with openness to change and innovation
  • Strong team collaboration abilities with excellent communication skills and capacity for independent work
  • Analytical and synthesis capabilities

Experience

Federal Certificate of Vocational Training (CFC) in dial design, jewelry-making, or equivalent professional qualification in dial assembly and fine mechanical work.
