Rolex seeks an R&D Cleanroom Technician in Bienne, Switzerland. Lead microfabrication operations and continuous process improvement.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform cleanroom operations in microfabrication environments
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, hygiene, and traceability requirements
  • Operate process equipment according to defined protocols and manufacturing recipes
  • Prepare and handle semiconductor components, consumables, and tooling for testing procedures
  • Execute microfabrication processes including cleaning, deposition, photolithography, etching, and related procedures according to available equipment
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and data entry in tracking systems to guarantee operational traceability
  • Perform first-level maintenance and maintain cleanroom hygiene standards

Qualifications

  • CFC certification in laboratory technology, polymechanics, automation, electronics, or equivalent training
  • ES technician diploma in microtechniques, industrial systems, or related processes (advantageous)
  • HES qualification in microtechniques, materials science, chemistry, applied physics, or related discipline (welcome for certain technical profiles)
  • Knowledge of cleanroom protocols, contamination control, safety requirements, and documentation discipline
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in microfabrication processes and silicon substrate handling
  • Familiarity with thin-film processes, photolithography, etching, or metrology (advantageous)

Experience

HES-level qualification in microtechniques, materials science, chemistry, applied physics, or adjacent discipline is welcome for select technical profiles.
