Rolex seeks a Quality Projects Manager in Geneva, Switzerland to lead cross‑functional quality improvement projects across manufacturing and supply chain.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver cross‑functional quality improvement projects from definition through implementation and validation, ensuring alignment with production and R&D priorities.
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets and success metrics; coordinate multidisciplinary teams including manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and suppliers.
- Implement, maintain and enhance quality management system processes (QMS), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and audit readiness.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis (8D, Ishikawa, Pareto) and oversee resolution plans, verifying effective corrective measures and closure.
- Develop and monitor quality KPIs and statistical process control (SPC) metrics to drive continuous improvement and reduce nonconformities.
- Interface with external suppliers to manage supplier quality performance, incoming inspection criteria and technical conformity of components.
- Prepare technical documentation, project reports and present findings to senior stakeholders; deliver training and knowledge transfer to operational teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, industrial engineering or equivalent technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Demonstrable project management capability, with formal training or certification (e.g., PMI, Prince2) advantageous.
- Proven competence in structured problem solving and corrective action methodologies (8D, FMEA, APQP).
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and systems (ISO 9001) and experience with QMS deployment in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and interact with external suppliers.

Experience
Several years (typically 3–7) of hands‑on experience managing quality or continuous improvement projects in precision manufacturing, ideally within watchmaking, micro‑mechanics or high‑precision mechanical industries.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, materials science, industrial engineering or equivalent; a master’s degree or relevant professional certifications is a plus.
