Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement a preventive quality assurance approach for the casting and finishing (foundry & apprêtage) perimeter.
  • Lead and coordinate risk analyses and drive the risk mitigation action plan to closure.
  • Qualify new products and manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
  • Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement projects to raise process robustness and product reliability.
  • Provide methodological support on quality tools and approaches to production teams.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external suppliers to guarantee component and process quality.
  • Ensure clear, timely communication with all contributors and stakeholders to align quality objectives and progress.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (HES/EPF) or equivalent with a quality or manufacturing orientation.
  • Proven experience animating and leading cross‑functional teams in an industrial environment.
  • Strong mastery of preventive and corrective quality management tools: analyse de risque, AMDEC, QRQC, 8D, MSP, audit.
  • Knowledge of materials, foundry, rolling/lamination or hardening processes is a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in spoken English; German or Italian is a plus.
  • Demonstrated rigour, autonomy and capacity for synthesis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and leadership in group facilitation.

Experience

Several years of experience in quality project management within a manufacturing environment, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams, conducting risk analyses and qualifying products/processes. Prior exposure to metalworking or casting processes is desirable.

Education

Engineering degree (HES/EPF) or equivalent, preferably with a specialization in quality or manufacturing.
