Rolex in Geneva seeks a Quality Manager to lead quality systems, audits and continuous improvement for precision watchmaking.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain the site Quality Management System in line with corporate standards and applicable industry norms.
- Lead internal quality audits and manage external / supplier audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Investigate non-conformities and customer complaints, lead root-cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Define and monitor quality KPIs, perform statistical analysis and report trends to production and management stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with production, R&D/engineering and suppliers to embed quality-by-design and support new product introductions.
- Manage calibration and metrology activities, ensure control of measuring equipment and traceability of inspection records.
- Coach and train shopfloor and support teams on quality procedures, inspection techniques and problem-solving methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, horology/watchmaking or equivalent technical qualification.
- Proven experience implementing and operating Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent) in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Certification as an ISO lead auditor, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong command of structured problem-solving tools (FMEA, 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and statistical quality methods.
- Professional level communication skills with the ability to liaise with multidisciplinary teams and international suppliers.

Experience
Typically 3–7 years of progressive quality experience within precision manufacturing, preferably in watchmaking, micro-mechanics or high-precision component production, with a record of leading audits, CAPA and continuous improvement projects.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial quality, watchmaking or a related technical discipline; advanced quality certifications preferred.
