Rolex Quality Control Inspector position in Geneva, Switzerland. Conduct aesthetic and dimensional inspections of precision timepiece components in a production environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct aesthetic and dimensional inspections of articles according to established sampling protocols and 'Aesthetic Robustness' standards
- Respect product range characteristics and associated technical documentation
- Operate autonomously within assigned production cells whilst maintaining communication protocols for continuous improvement
- Record inspection data and utilization decisions in the enterprise systems
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper ergonomic management of the inspection workstation
Qualifications
- Quality control certification and/or significant professional experience in aesthetic and dimensional inspection, preferably within the watchmaking sector
- Demonstrated expertise in aesthetic inspection methodologies and component gauging according to quality referentials
- Proficiency with basic computer systems; SAP experience is desirable
- Competency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and following established procedures
- Familiarity with optical measurement tools and precision gauging instruments
- Willingness to work shift patterns as required by production schedules
- Capacity to render clear, decisive, and precise quality determinations
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative team orientation
- Demonstrated rigor, attention to detail, and operational autonomy
Skills
Experience
Significant professional experience in aesthetic and dimensional quality control, ideally within the horology or precision manufacturing sector. Practical knowledge of inspection methodologies and quality standards application is essential.
Education
Quality control certification, technical diploma, or equivalent professional qualification in quality assurance, precision manufacturing, or watchmaking production.
