Rolex in Geneva seeks a Quality & Metrology Intern (Supplier Component Acceptance). 3–6 month internship in metrology and supplier-quality projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct a baseline assessment and historical analysis of current supplier component acceptance criteria and inspection records.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, procurement and quality teams to define a prioritized action plan to improve acceptance criteria.
- Design and execute tests on proposed measurement and inspection solutions; analyse test results and document findings.
- Support the deployment and validation of new acceptance procedures and measurement protocols across incoming inspection workflows.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s programme in Microtechnology, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Knowledge of measurement techniques, notably colorimetry, dimensional metrology and physical measurements.
- Capacity to work autonomously and to propose pragmatic, technically sound solutions.
- Strong organisational skills and attentive listening; effective collaborator across multidisciplinary teams.
- Availability for a 3–6 month internship period.

Experience
No specific prior professional experience is required; academic laboratory work or project experience with measurement techniques or metrology is advantageous.
Education
Master's-level studies in Microtechnology, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (ongoing).
