Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct a baseline assessment and historical analysis of current supplier component acceptance criteria and inspection records.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, procurement and quality teams to define a prioritized action plan to improve acceptance criteria.
  • Design and execute tests on proposed measurement and inspection solutions; analyse test results and document findings.
  • Support the deployment and validation of new acceptance procedures and measurement protocols across incoming inspection workflows.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s programme in Microtechnology, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
  • Knowledge of measurement techniques, notably colorimetry, dimensional metrology and physical measurements.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and to propose pragmatic, technically sound solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills and attentive listening; effective collaborator across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Availability for a 3–6 month internship period.

Experience

No specific prior professional experience is required; academic laboratory work or project experience with measurement techniques or metrology is advantageous.
