Rolex seeks a Proximity Manager for its Safety, Security & Environment Projects team in Geneva. Lead complex initiatives and manage high-performing teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Communicate departmental strategic directions, establish performance objectives, and guide team members toward achievement targets
- Organize team activities to ensure alignment between workload, capacity, and competencies
- Develop the technical expertise, autonomy, and commitment of project managers through mentoring and professional development
- Establish a trustworthy working environment that promotes transparent communication, cohesion, and collective performance through attentive yet exacting management
- Oversee the SSE project portfolio and ensure achievement of quality, cost, schedule, and risk mitigation targets
- Supervise projects from scoping through deployment, implementing appropriate governance structures and reporting protocols
- Set project priorities, monitor advancement, anticipate deviations, and prepare necessary escalations and arbitrations
- Facilitate operational reviews, steering committees, and portfolio oversight meetings
- Support project managers in complex situations and personally manage strategic or sensitive projects when required
- Deploy and maintain departmental project management standards, methodologies, and tools, driving continuous process improvement
- Monitor performance through relevant KPIs and ensure data reliability for decision-making
- Cultivate trusted relationships with partner departments and coordinate cross-functional interfaces essential for project success
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, environmental, confidentiality, regulatory, and business continuity requirements
Qualifications
- Advanced technical or university-level degree: HES/EPF engineer diploma, Bachelor or Master in engineering, management, or equivalent qualification
- Recognized project management certification required: PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional, multi-stakeholder projects
- Demonstrated success in team management or strong functional leadership experience
- Mastery of project methodologies, planning, risk management, budget tracking, and reporting practices
- Experience in industrial, technical, regulated, or high-demand environments preferred
- Proficiency with standard office and project management software tools
- Fluent French (written and spoken); English proficiency is an advantage

Confirmed experience in leading complex, cross-functional, multi-stakeholder projects. Successful track record in team management or substantial functional leadership experience in technical, industrial, or regulated environments.
Education
