Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the fabrication of prototypes for the R&D division using a variety of materials and manufacturing technologies at the Romont site.
- Program and operate CNC machines to machine complex horological components, applying milling and grinding techniques.
- Perform dimensional control and inspection of manufactured components and associated tooling, ensuring compliance with drawings and tolerances.
- Ensure on-time delivery of components while meeting Rolex quality standards and lead-time requirements.
- Document studies, process parameters and measurement data; standardise and preserve technical records for reproducibility.
- Collaborate with engineering and toolmaking teams and, when required, travel to other company sites in the Geneva area.
Qualifications
- Federal VET diploma (CFC) as a polymechanic or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Proven experience in grinding and machining of varied materials and in CAM/CFAO programming for CNC machines.
- Practical experience with laser texturing of materials; experience in mould or tooling machining for horological components is an asset.
- Autonomous and versatile personality with strong teamwork skills, curiosity and a pragmatic, disciplined approach to problem solving.
- Flexibility to undertake occasional travel between sites (Romont and Geneva).

Experience
Confirmed, hands-on experience in precision machining and grinding across multiple materials, including CAM/CFAO programming of CNC equipment; prior work on tooling or moulds for component production is advantageous.
Education
Federal VET diploma (CFC) as a polymechanic or equivalent technical apprenticeship.
