Rolex seeks a Prototype Dial Coordinator in Geneva to manage components procurement and inventory for R&D prototype manufacturing.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee complete management of prototype dial production, including component procurement and allocation across all specifications
- Track and manage precious materials inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards
- Execute regular inventory audits and reconciliations for prototype and finished dial stock
- Issue and coordinate manufacturing work orders across internal departments, including setting and gemstone operations
- Manage procurement, tracking, and delivery of component resources such as decorative stones and gemstones from suppliers
- Administer photographic and saleable dial inventory, including item nomenclature, weight initialization, and automatic stock transfers
- Maintain diplomatic cross-functional communication with production schedulers, planning teams, R&D managers, finance partners, and workshop personnel
- Ensure seamless coordination to support optimal workshop operations and project timelines
Qualifications
- Technician diploma, Bachelor of Applied Sciences (HES), or equivalent qualification in logistics or business management
- Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate multiple concurrent activities effectively
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with diplomatic approach to stakeholder engagement
- Dynamic, sociable, and approachable personality
- Pronounced team spirit combined with strong autonomy
