Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain short-, mid- and long-term production schedules to meet delivery commitments while optimising capacity and inventory.
- Translate sales forecasts and confirmed orders into executable production plans and material requirements (MRP).
- Coordinate daily production priorities with workshop managers, assembly teams and supply‑chain partners to resolve bottlenecks and expedite critical orders.
- Monitor production KPIs, inventory levels and lead times; propose corrective actions and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Liaise with procurement and suppliers to align component availability with production needs and to manage order changes.
- Manage order release, routing and work‑order sequencing within the ERP system and ensure data integrity.
- Prepare regular planning reports and participate in cross‑functional meetings (manufacturing, quality, logistics, sales).
- Implement and support process improvements related to capacity planning, lot‑sizing and scheduling heuristics.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in industrial engineering, supply‑chain management, production planning or equivalent technical field.
- Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within precision manufacturing (watchmaking, micro‑mechanics or comparable environment).
- Strong analytical aptitude with experience using MRP/ERP systems and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VBA a plus).
- Fluency in French and professional working proficiency in English.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally, prioritise under pressure and drive continuous improvement.

Typically 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in production planning or scheduling within precision manufacturing, luxury goods or complex, high‑mix production environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in industrial engineering, supply‑chain management, operations management or equivalent.
