Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet delivery commitments while optimising capacity and inventory.
- Translate demand forecasts and firm orders into detailed production plans and work orders across watchmaking workshops.
- Operate and reconcile MRP runs; trigger replenishment, sequencing and prioritisation of manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Procurement, Engineering, Quality and Workshop Supervisors to resolve bottlenecks and ensure material and resource availability.
- Perform finite capacity planning and load balancing to maximise throughput while protecting quality standards.
- Track and report key planning KPIs (on-time delivery, lead times, inventory turns); propose corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage schedule changes, expedite critical orders and communicate impacts to stakeholders and commercial teams.
- Support implementation and optimisation of ERP/APS systems and standard operating procedures for planning and ordonnancement.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in production planning and scheduling within precision manufacturing or luxury goods production.
- Demonstrable experience with MRP/ERP processes and master scheduling in a make-to-order / mixed-mode environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience driving KPI-based improvements and execution discipline on the shop floor.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence workshop supervisors, procurement and commercial teams.
- Familiarity with capacity planning, finite scheduling and inventory control techniques.
- Experience participating in ERP or advanced planning system implementations or optimisation projects.

Experience
Typically 3–5 years of hands-on experience in production planning, scheduling or supply-chain functions within precision manufacturing, industrial assembly or luxury goods production; watchmaking experience is strongly advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics or a technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
