Rolex in Geneva is hiring a Production Planner to manage master production planning (PDP), inventory and supply coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the master production plan (PDP) to align demand forecasts with manufacturing capacity and inventory targets.
- Translate sales forecasts and orders into detailed production schedules, sequencing operations to optimise throughput and lead times.
- Monitor inventory levels and drive inventory optimisation initiatives to minimise obsolescence while safeguarding availability for priority channels.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, quality, engineering and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and resolve production constraints.
- Operate and maintain planning systems (MRP/ERP), generate KPI reports and present performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Implement and support S&OP activities, scenario planning and capacity simulations to inform executive decision-making.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on scheduling efficiency, material flow and reduction of bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, logistics or equivalent; a master’s or relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
- Professional certifications such as APICS/CPIM or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong analytical aptitude with demonstrable experience using MRP/ERP systems and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Experience
3–5 years of progressive experience in production or supply planning, ideally within precision manufacturing or luxury goods; prior exposure to watchmaking or high-precision assembly environments is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, logistics or a closely related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
