Rolex Production Operations Technician in Geneva, Switzerland – coordinate manufacturing processes and lead continuous improvement.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure optimal functioning and performance of production equipment in alignment with departmental objectives
- Provide daily technical and quality support to workshop personnel during operational challenges
- Act as technical liaison for the production zone, identify risks, communicate findings to workshop staff, and monitor mitigation efforts
- Manage tooling inventory and consumable materials
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators
- Lead and facilitate technical meetings and problem-solving sessions
- Guarantee accuracy and reliability of workshop master data and procedural compliance
- Analyze production data and verify information system data integrity
- Verify conformance of new tools and processes to specification
- Participate in new product qualification, continuous improvement initiatives, and optimization of operational procedures
Qualifications
- Technician ES diploma or equivalent qualification
- First experience in industrial manufacturing
- Knowledge of quality problem-solving tools (8D methodology, Pareto analysis, etc.)
- Capacity for large-scale data analysis
- Strong team orientation with listening skills and autonomy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Watchmaking experience and project management knowledge (preferred)
- SAP proficiency (preferred)
Skills
Experience
First experience in industrial manufacturing required; watchmaking sector experience is advantageous.
Education
Technician ES diploma or equivalent qualification.
