Rolex — Geneva: Production Flow Simulation Intern (internship) to support manufacturing simulation, data analysis and process optimisation using Flexsim, Python and Tableau.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Integrate with the manufacturing team and become proficient in the project toolset, including Flexsim, Tableau, Monday and SAP.
  • Conduct site visits of the industrial system to map current processes, identify constraints and understand project objectives.
  • Contribute to the drafting of functional specifications for the proposed simulation and optimisation solution.
  • Develop the simulation solution in collaboration with team members, building models and implementing scenario logic.
  • Perform optimisation scenario analyses, validate results with stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including functional documentation of the model and a final project report.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's programme in Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnique, Manufacturing Technology Engineering (MTE) or an equivalent technical degree.
  • Solid understanding of Lean Management principles and process improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organisational skills, intellectual agility and a dynamic, solution-oriented mindset.

Experience
