Rolex seeks a Production Flow Optimization Intern in Geneva to enhance manufacturing efficiency through simulation software and data analysis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze industrial system operations to identify project objectives and key stakeholder requirements
- Contribute to functional specification development and collaborate with cross-functional teams on solution implementation
- Model and evaluate optimization scenarios using simulation tools, validating results with relevant stakeholders
- Author comprehensive functional documentation, simulation models, and final project deliverables
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnology, Computer Science, Data Science, or Technology & Entrepreneurship Management (or equivalent)
- Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Python and Tableau
- Experience with simulation software such as FlexSim
- Knowledge of Lean Management principles
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with demonstrated autonomy
- Strong interpersonal and active listening abilities
Skills
Experience
Currently pursuing advanced degree in relevant technical or management discipline; prior experience with manufacturing, operations, or process improvement projects preferred.
Education
Master's degree (in progress) in Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnology, Computer Science, Data Science, or Technology & Entrepreneurship Management, or equivalent.
