Rolex — Product Owner Logistics (1‑year contract) in Geneva. Hybrid role to manage LES backlog and coordinate IT and operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide functional expertise for the Logistic Execution System (L.E.S.), analysing business needs and recommending the most effective solution (configuration, existing feature usage, process adaptation or new development).
  • Translate business requirements into detailed, implementable specifications for functional and architectural teams to enable accurate scoping and identification of dependencies.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration between Logistics Methods & Industrialisation, IT and management to align objectives, set priorities and make trade‑offs; communicate progress, impacts and decisions with appropriate detail.
  • Own and maintain the LES product backlog for logistics requirements (enhancements, fixes, improvements), prioritising by operational value and field constraints (peak activity, operational risk, dependencies).
  • Safeguard the overall functional coherence of the solution, reduce recurring pain points through targeted improvements (screen simplification, harmonisation of practices) and work closely with Application Support to ease adoption (guidelines, user documentation, key checks).

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in supply chain/logistics or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in a logistics environment (methods, operations, continuous improvement, deployment of processes/tools), ideally with an IT component.
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills, with the ability to animate cross‑functional working groups and foster collaborative outcomes.
  • Affinity for logistics systems and the ability to design pragmatic solutions from field constraints (WMS / LES / ERP familiarity).
  • Comfortable working in iterative delivery modes (Agile / short cycles) and prioritising by value.

Experience
