Role & Responsibilities

  • Define equipment and infrastructure requirements for new production processes and scope associated investments.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility by quantifying process control, product conformity, achievable volumes and cost targets.
  • Develop and drive risk mitigation plans and manage industrialization schedules to meet launch deadlines.
  • Industrialize and validate new products, ensuring transfer from prototype to stable series production.
  • Coordinate and mobilize cross-functional project stakeholders (R&D, production, quality, suppliers) to ensure alignment.
  • Prepare concise, data-driven reporting and present industrialization status to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (HES, EPF or equivalent) in mechanical engineering, microtechnology, materials science or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record in managing industrialization or process development projects within precision manufacturing.
  • Strong technical competence in process capability assessment, risk analysis and control/monitoring plan design.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Autonomous, methodical and organised with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and strong analytical synthesis skills.
