Rolex SA hiring Process Methods Engineer in Bienne, Switzerland. Design and optimise watchmaking component manufacturing processes in decoration and finishing operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define programming strategies, associated tooling specifications, and critical process parameters for decoration and finishing operations
  • Conduct equipment commissioning, optimize programs, and obtain formal process validation and homologation
  • Ensure precise product specification definition at operational level in close collaboration with industrialisation engineers, design teams, and methods technicians
  • Share process strategies and methodologies throughout all industrialisation phases to ensure consistency and quality
  • Train and support production teams during process transfer from industrialisation to full-scale manufacturing
  • Monitor emerging technologies and maintain continuous technological awareness within the field

Qualifications

  • CFC diploma in polymechanics or micromechanics, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Demonstrated expertise in decoration and finishing operations for watchmaking components
  • Strong knowledge of watchmaking component manufacturing and quality control procedures
  • Technical mindset with curiosity and openness toward emerging technologies
  • Excellent communication skills, rigorous attention to detail, organised and methodical approach, with demonstrated autonomy
  • Analytical and synthetic thinking capabilities with ability to thrive in cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams
