Role & Responsibilities

  • Apply and enforce PMO methodology and project management techniques across a portfolio of projects.
  • Validate project readiness prior to execution and ensure Sponsor approval of project plans.
  • Establish, monitor and report project KPIs (scope, cost, schedule, risks, communications, resources).
  • Maintain consolidated schedules, define and track the critical path and key milestones.
  • Ensure ownership of required deliverables and coordinate stakeholders from project launch onward.
  • Coordinate project team activities and manage project reporting and communications.
  • Escalate deviations beyond tolerance to steering committees and executive committees and present alternative corrective actions.
  • Prepare and co‑chair steering (COPIL) and executive (CODIR) meetings; document and archive meeting outcomes.
  • Conduct post‑project reviews and record lessons learned; provide coaching and advisory support to project owners.
  • Ensure appropriate resource allocation, documentation management and team engagement throughout project lifecycles.

Qualifications

  • University degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years of proven experience managing cross‑departmental projects.
  • Project management certification required (PMP, PSM I, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent).
  • Deep familiarity with current project management practices and tools.
  • Strong planning and organisational capability with attention to governance and documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Professional interpersonal skills: diplomacy, assertiveness and flexibility when interacting with diverse stakeholders.

Experience

At least five years of successful, hands‑on experience leading and supporting inter‑departmental projects within a matrix organisation, including governance, stakeholder management and consolidated scheduling.

Education

University degree preferred.
