Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) domain within the information systems organisation, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery.
- Elicit, analyse and document functional requirements from cross‑functional stakeholders including design, technical development and production.
- Translate requirements into specifications and user stories for configuration, integration and enhancement of PLM processes and modules.
- Participate in system configuration, integration testing and user acceptance testing; identify defects and drive remediation with IT teams and vendors.
- Assist with data migration, master data governance and data quality initiatives relating to product structures, BOMs and parts metadata.
- Produce process maps, functional specifications, test scripts and training materials; support end‑user training and change management activities.
- Monitor PLM performance indicators, propose continuous improvement opportunities and contribute to roadmap planning.
Qualifications
- Recent university graduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Demonstrable analytical rigour with experience of structured requirements capture and process mapping (academic projects, internships or work placements).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Intellectual curiosity about product development processes and a genuine interest in horology and manufacturing environments.
