Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of platform services (cloud, container orchestration, CI/CD and infrastructure automation), ensuring quality, reliability and timely releases.
- Define and steward delivery roadmaps, release schedules and SLAs in collaboration with engineering, security, operations and product stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams — developers, SRE/ops, security and third-party vendors — to remove impediments and maintain delivery cadence.
- Establish and monitor KPIs, operational metrics and incident-management processes to drive continuous improvement and platform availability.
- Implement governance, change control and risk mitigation practices aligned with enterprise IT standards and compliance requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to platform tooling, cloud services and managed operations.
- Mentor delivery leads and engineers, promote DevOps culture and propagate best practices for automation, observability and resilience.
Qualifications
- Proven track record managing delivery of enterprise platform or cloud infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrable experience aligning technical delivery with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong knowledge of release management, incident response and change control in regulated environments.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and negotiating service-level agreements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
Skills
Experience
Typically 5+ years in platform, cloud or infrastructure delivery with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role orchestrating cross-functional teams and vendor partners. Experience in regulated or high-availability environments is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline; master's degree or equivalent technical certification preferred.
