Rolex in Geneva seeks a New Product Project Manager to lead cross‑functional product development and industrialisation of new watch models.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end new product development projects from concept through industrialisation and launch, ensuring scope, schedule and budgetary targets are met.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, movement engineering, prototyping, production, quality, supply chain and marketing to deliver project milestones.
- Define project plans, manage risks and dependencies, maintain project documentation and report progress to senior stakeholders.
- Drive prototype validation, test programs and technical reviews; ensure manufacturability and transfer to serial production.
- Manage external suppliers and development partners, negotiating technical requirements, schedules and quality expectations.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements; participate in post-launch reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Materials Science or a watchmaking diploma (e.g., WOSTEP) or equivalent technical qualification.
- Proven track record of managing NPD projects in precision manufacturing, horology, luxury goods or related mechanical industries.
- Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and product validation methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to present technical issues to non-technical senior stakeholders.

Experience
Typically 5+ years of progressive experience leading new product development projects in mechanical or precision-manufacturing environments, preferably within watchmaking or luxury goods.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Materials Science, or equivalent; professional watchmaking qualifications (WOSTEP) or equivalent are advantageous.
