Role & Responsibilities
- Lead industrialization and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from prototype to serial production for new watch models and components.
- Define and validate manufacturing processes, tooling, fixturing and assembly sequences to meet target quality, cycle time and cost objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including R&D, design, quality, procurement and production to ensure seamless transfer to series manufacturing.
- Plan and supervise pilot runs; implement process capability studies and corrective actions to achieve production readiness.
- Produce work instructions, process flow charts, control plans and standard operating procedures; train production operators and technicians.
- Apply continuous improvement methods to optimize throughput, reduce scrap and ensure scalability of new production lines.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements relevant to precision watchmaking.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnology, Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical diploma.
- Proven track record in industrialization / NPI within precision mechanics or high-precision assembly; watchmaking experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable knowledge of manufacturing methods for micro‑components, metrology and quality assurance techniques.
- Project management capability with experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing launch timelines.
- Analytical problem-solving skills, familiarity with statistical process control and root-cause analysis techniques.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multilingual environment; professional maturity and attention to detail.

Experience
5+ years of experience in production or manufacturing engineering with direct responsibility for New Product Introduction or industrialization projects; prior work in precision manufacturing or watchmaking is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Microtechnology, Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
