Rolex — Geneva: New Product Production Engineer to coordinate NPI, industrialization and production validation for Rolex's manufacturing division.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the introduction of new products and after‑sales items according to the production plan, ensuring on-time ramp-up to series production.
  • Ensure the adequacy of the manufacturing range: verify availability of tooling, work instructions and all production documentation.
  • Participate in project risk analyses and contribute mitigations relevant to production readiness.
  • Produce the production exploitation report following homologation of a new product in collaboration with Project teams.
  • Validate release to series production in concert with the Project team and operations stakeholders.
  • Ensure tight coordination between Project representatives, operations/maintenance technicians, industrialization and scheduling teams.
  • Represent the production sector in cross‑functional new product and after‑sales governance forums.
  • Maintain clear communication with management regarding status, risks and resource needs.
  • Implement, together with scheduling, rigorous follow‑up of qualification manufacturing orders in the workshop.
  • Lead and animate sector Project meetings to drive actions and decisions to closure.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent).
  • First industrial experience is required; demonstrable involvement in production or manufacturing projects.
  • Experience in project management and/or production management.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to synthesise large technical datasets and produce actionable conclusions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to assert recommendations within cross‑functional teams.
  • Team‑oriented, attentive, methodical and rigorous.
  • Capacity to step back and assess complex projects and material/flow issues.
  • Resilient under stress, adaptable and responsive to changing priorities.
