Rolex in Geneva is hiring a Milling Machine Setter for bar/band milling—join a precision manufacturing team at a leading Swiss watchmaker.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform production follow-ups and execute series changeovers on bar/band milling operations (fraisage en bande).
  • Set up, adjust and qualify milling machines and associated fixtures to ensure compliance with production standards.
  • Contribute to the design and validation of production tooling and fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and implement corrective actions to restore and stabilize production.
  • Support the business process owner and act as a backup for production operators, including on-the-job training and operator replacement as needed.
  • Capture and document know‑how and participate in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen/SMED initiatives).

Qualifications

  • Swiss CFC in Production Mechanic (mécanicien de production) or equivalent vocational qualification, or demonstrable equivalent experience in milling.
  • Proven experience with band/bar milling operations (fraisage) and machine set-up/changeover.
  • Strong knowledge and mastery of production equipment and tooling.
  • Familiarity with basic problem‑solving tools and methodologies.
  • Methodical approach, analytical mindset and proactive problem‑solving attitude.
  • Collaborative team spirit and capability to train and support operators.
