Rolex in Biel/Bienne seeks a Micromechanic Technician for precision tooling assembly and small-series machining.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble, adjust and commission production tooling and small equipment used across the Manufacture.
- Manufacture complex precision mechanical components in small series on conventional machines.
- Execute fine finishing operations (polishing, lapping, fitting) to meet tight tolerances and surface-quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with the technical office, production teams and project managers to respect delivery schedules and tooling quality.
- Participate actively in validation, testing and homologation processes for tools and assemblies.
Qualifications
- CFC in micromechanics (micromécanicien) or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in conventional machining and fabrication of small parts.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly plans.
- Proven experience in assembly of precision mechanical sub-assemblies.
- Meticulous attention to finishing and cleanliness; conscientious and quality-focused.
- Strong team-working skills, flexibility and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
Skills
Experience
Proven hands-on experience in manufacturing small, precision mechanical parts and assembling precision mechanical assemblies; experience working with production tooling and participating in validation or homologation processes.
Education
CFC (Swiss Federal VET Certificate) in micromechanics or an equivalent technical qualification.
