Rolex seeks a Metrology Technician to join its Procurement, Support and Infrastructure division. The successful candidate will conduct precise metrology verifications and ensure corrective maintenance of measurement equipment across a defined scope, with responsibility for equipment status assessment and evolving operational needs. The role encompasses calibration activities, equipment maintenance, integration of new measurement systems, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to uphold the brand's exacting standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct precise and methodical calibrations of instruments and measurement systems in accordance with applicable standards, with emphasis on continuous process improvement
- Manage corrective maintenance of measurement devices, diagnosing and resolving malfunctions to minimize production downtime
- Participate in the acquisition and integration of new measurement systems, ensuring technical and operational alignment with requirements
- Develop and formalize technical documentation, work procedures, and knowledge transfer protocols to preserve institutional expertise
- Establish synergies with cross-functional departments including industrialization, buildings and infrastructure, information technology, safety and environment
- Adhere rigorously to internal directives and reflect the brand's commitment to excellence in all assigned tasks
Qualifications
- Diploma in physical measurements, quality, or equivalent (Technicien ES or HES level)
- Demonstrated experience in measurement equipment management
- Proficiency in measurement equipment fleet management
- Competence in writing uncertainty budgets and certificates, reading technical drawings, and applying ISO standards
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and mechanical principles
- Team orientation, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication abilities
- Analytical thinking, rigorous attention to detail, and technical curiosity

Experience
Appreciated experience in measurement equipment management with demonstrated proficiency in managing and maintaining measurement systems across industrial environments.
Education
