Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain control plans and inspection programs for new products.
- Create and update CMM (coordinate measuring machine) programs using METROLOG.
- Collaborate with CNC programmers and manufacturing teams to optimise inspection strategies and fixturing.
- Define fixture and equipment needs for inspection means and ensure timely programme release.
- Support production workshops during first article inspections to validate programmes and processes.
- Train operators on correct use of measurement equipment and inspection procedures.
- Ensure and monitor capability and performance of measurement equipment.
- Define optimal inspection sequences balancing capability, accuracy and cycle time, in coordination with project teams.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (HES) or technical diploma (ES) in microtechnology, precision mechanics or equivalent.
- Proven capability in dimensional metrology and control using coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Practical experience in metrology and inspection methods.
- Proficiency with METROLOG programming software.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Autonomous, rigorous, solution-oriented with a hands-on approach and strong analytical and synthesis skills.

Experience in dimensional metrology and CMM programming; hands-on experience supporting shop-floor inspections and validating inspection programmes.
Education
