Rolex — Methods Data Engineer in Geneva. Responsible for creating and maintaining methods data in ERP/PLM and ensuring data accuracy across the lifecycle.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create and maintain methods data in ERP and PLM systems, ensuring completeness and correctness throughout the data lifecycle.
- Enter and update master data (articles, routings/gammes, bills of materials/nomenclatures) in information systems.
- Perform data accuracy analyses, identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve data quality.
- Execute data archiving and deletion campaigns at end-of-life in accordance with governance rules.
- Act as the methods-data owner on cross-functional projects (new product introductions, continuous improvement, capital investments), representing and defending methods data requirements.
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of business rules, data governance and standards for methods data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, microtechnology or equivalent technical education.
- Minimum five years' experience in methods or manufacturing master-data management (articles, routings, BOMs) in an industrial environment.
- Proven experience with SAP and/or PTC Windchill in a production context.
- Strong analytical rigour, synthesis skills and the ability to take a structured view of complex situations.
- Effective communicator who collaborates well in multidisciplinary teams and can defend data decisions with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of watchmaking is a plus.

Experience
At least 5 years managing methods/manufacturing master data within a production or industrial environment, with hands-on use of SAP and/or Windchill and participation in cross-functional product or process projects.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, microtechnology or an equivalent technical qualification.
