Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct time-and-motion studies on production operations to capture cycle times and non-value-added activities.
- Map production processes and develop standardized operating procedures and work instructions.
- Analyse time-study data to calculate standard times, identify bottlenecks and quantify improvement opportunities.
- Propose and validate process improvements in collaboration with production teams and line managers.
- Prepare clear technical reports, presentations and visual aids summarising findings and recommended actions.
- Support ergonomic and quality considerations when defining work methods and time standards.
- Contribute to pilot implementations and follow-up measurement to confirm gains.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Microengineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of work measurement and method study techniques (time study, time & motion analysis).
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail when collecting and processing measurements.
- Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to multidisciplinary production teams.
- Autonomous worker with a collaborative mindset and respect for high quality and confidentiality standards.

Experience
Practical coursework or project work in industrial or manufacturing environments; prior exposure to production shops, internships or academic projects involving process analysis, time measurement or continuous improvement is highly valued.
Education
Currently pursuing a university degree (BSc or MSc) in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Microengineering or a related discipline.
