Rolex seeks an MES Applications Support Specialist in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland to support Production and MES/LES teams in the Quality & Sustainability department.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Analyse business needs and contribute to the preparation of functional specifications and requirement documents.
  • Test new MES functionality on pilot lines and train end users on the MES (Apriso).
  • Deploy MES/LES functionalities to production workshops and stabilise them in live operations.
  • Centralise, document and escalate incidents and change requests related to Apriso.
  • Provide first-line user support and act as the production-floor liaison between operators and IT teams.
  • Train and onboard new collaborators and Key Users.
  • Manage and prioritise a product backlog of incidents and enhancements.
  • Support change management activities and facilitate working groups / Key User networks.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or technician (ES) diploma from a technical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of production/manufacturing processes.
  • Proven capability with manufacturing information systems (PLM, ERP, MES, LES).
  • Project management skills with knowledge of Scrum methodology.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: team-oriented, service-focused, able to teach and persuade; proactive and responsive.

Experience

Several years of hands-on experience supporting manufacturing information systems (MES/LES) in a production environment, including deployment, user support, training and stabilisation of shopfloor applications.
