Role & Responsibilities

  • Undertake hands-on training in assembly, adjustment and maintenance of mechanical components under supervision.
  • Learn and apply fine mechanical assembly techniques, lubrication protocols and tolerancing required for high-precision parts.
  • Operate and assist with basic machine-room equipment and bench tools (e.g., lathes, milling machines) following safety and quality procedures.
  • Use precision measuring instruments (micrometer, caliper, dial indicator) to perform component inspection and dimensional verification.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions and process documentation relevant to mechanical assemblies.
  • Participate in the formal apprenticeship programme and vocational school curriculum leading to the AFP qualification.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of work, perform quality control checks and escalate deviations to senior technicians.

Qualifications
