Rolex (Geneva) seeks a Materials Quality Engineer to lead quality objectives for casting & finishing. Permanent role in production quality assurance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and deploy a preventive quality assurance strategy for the casting and finishing (fonte et apprêtage) perimeter.
- Lead risk analyses and manage the mitigation action plan until closure.
- Qualify new products and new manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with quality requirements.
- Drive cross-functional continuous improvement projects to raise product reliability and process robustness.
- Provide methodological support on quality tools and approaches to operational teams.
- Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to secure material conformity and supplier performance.
- Ensure clear, timely communication with all quality contributors and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (HES/EPF or equivalent) with a specialization or strong orientation in quality.
- Proven experience in coordinating and animating cross-functional teams in an industrial environment.
- Solid command of preventive and corrective quality methodologies and tools (risk analysis, AMDEC, QRQC, 8D, MSP, audits).
- Knowledge of materials, foundry, rolling/lamination or durability testing is a strong advantage.
- Fluent oral English; German or Italian considered a plus.
- Strong analytical rigour, autonomy and synthesis skills; effective oral and written communication.
- Demonstrated leadership in group facilitation and problem solving.

Experience
Demonstrated, hands-on experience in materials or manufacturing quality assurance, including leading cross-functional teams and risk mitigation programs; experience in foundry or metal-forming environments is advantageous.
Education
Engineering degree (HES/EPF or equivalent) with quality-focused coursework or specialization.
