Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end Master Data Management (MDM) projects: define scope, deliverables, timelines and resource plans.
- Elicit and document business requirements and data models in partnership with product, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial stakeholders.
- Design and implement data governance processes, master data lifecycle rules and data quality controls.
- Coordinate technical teams, external vendors and integrators during configuration, testing and deployment of MDM solutions.
- Manage project risks and issues, produce status reporting and ensure milestones are met against budget and timeline.
- Define and execute migration and reconciliation strategies for existing master data; supervise data cleansing and enrichment activities.
- Develop training materials, lead change management and support adoption across business units.
- Establish KPIs and monitor ongoing data quality and stewardship activities post‑implementation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering MDM, data governance or master data consolidation projects in a complex, multi‑domain environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional coordination skills, able to engage senior business and technical audiences.
- Demonstrable ability to translate business needs into data models, governance policies and technical specifications.
- Project management proficiency; certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 or equivalent experience are advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with attention to detail and process discipline.

Typically 3–7 years of progressive experience in master data management, data governance or related IT delivery roles, including hands‑on involvement in at least one full lifecycle MDM implementation and cross‑domain coordination.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Business Administration or a closely related discipline; a master’s degree is a plus.
