Rolex Manufacturing Methods Technician in Fribourg, Switzerland — develop and optimize CNC machining programs and manufacturing workflows.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and validate machining programs for CNC equipment, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance
  • Monitor and communicate task progress to relevant stakeholders
  • Lead the integration of new products and processes, formalizing baseline specifications and reference documentation
  • Conduct production trials in collaboration with cross-functional teams and prepare associated technical reports
  • Maintain and update technical data related to manufacturing equipment and production operations
  • Rationalize and optimize manufacturing workflows to enhance efficiency and performance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects within the production department and manufacturing function

Qualifications

  • CFC (Federal Vocational Certificate) in polymechanics or equivalent professional qualification
  • HES engineering degree or ES technician qualification in micromechanics
  • Proven expertise in ISO programming and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing)
  • Advanced mechanical competency on machining equipment, including tool setup and configuration
  • Proficiency with CAM software, preferably CREO and GibbsCAM
  • Knowledge of CAD software, ideally CREO
  • Methodical and rigorous approach with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
  • Team-oriented mindset with hands-on production experience
