Manufacturing Methods Engineer at Rolex in Bienne. Define and optimize assembly processes for watch movements.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create and maintain assembly line methods documentation and procedures
- Define assembly processes to achieve production objectives and performance targets
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for product flows during production lifecycle
- Establish and update assembly routing data within the information system
- Identify and specify tooling and packaging requirements for assembly operations
- Define technical documentation requirements and support their implementation
- Conduct and validate operational time studies for assembly routings
- Participate in industrialization of new products by proposing assembly strategies
- Lead and coordinate projects within the manufacturing division
Qualifications
- Technical diploma in manufacturing methods or Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering
- Proficiency with lean manufacturing methodologies and process optimization tools
- Demonstrated experience with Value Stream Mapping, Takt Time analysis, and time study techniques
- Experience with operational indicator analysis and process improvement metrics
- Proficiency with standard business software and SAP (preferred)
- Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Proactive and autonomous work approach
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

Demonstrated experience in industrial methods and new product development. Background in manufacturing process engineering or similar technical role required.
Education
