Rolex seeks a Manufacturing Engineer – Decoration in Bienne, Switzerland. Design and optimize watch component decoration processes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define programming strategies, associated tools, and influential manufacturing parameters
- Conduct equipment setup, programme development, and homologation procedures
- Ensure precise definition of product specifications throughout operations in collaboration with industrialization specialists, draughtsmen, and methods personnel
- Share strategies and processes throughout all industrialization phases
- Train and support users during process transfers from industrialization to production
- Maintain continuous technological surveillance within the decoration domain
Qualifications
- CFC (Federal Diploma of Competence) in polymechanics or micromechanics, or equivalent qualification
- Confirmed experience in watch component decoration processes
- Knowledge of watch component manufacturing or quality control procedures
- Technical aptitude with genuine curiosity and openness to emerging technologies
- Strong analytical and synthetic thinking capabilities
