Role & Responsibilities
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, tooling and plant utilities to ensure continuous, high‑precision manufacturing.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electro‑mechanical faults using systematic troubleshooting methods and restore equipment to production tolerance and safety standards.
- Perform installations, calibrations, alignments and adjustments of machines and production lines following technical documentation and OEM specifications.
- Operate and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic and automation systems; analyse and tune PLC controls in collaboration with automation specialists.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, log work in the CMMS and manage spare parts inventory to optimise uptime and mean time between failures.
- Lead or contribute to root‑cause analyses and continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and process efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and clean‑room protocols applicable to luxury watch manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Technical vocational qualification or diploma in mechatronics, electromechanics, mechanical or electrical engineering (apprenticeship/CFC, BTS, HND or equivalent).
- Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics and electrical diagrams.
- Familiarity with PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics and servo/drive systems; experience with CMMS/maintenance software.
- Strong manual dexterity, attention to precision and experience working to tight tolerances in a manufacturing environment.
- Commitment to safety protocols and experience working in controlled environments (clean room/ESD awareness advantageous).
