Rolex – Machine Learning Research Intern in Bienne, Switzerland. 6-month internship opportunity in computer vision and self-supervised learning for visual defect detection.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive literature review and internal evaluation of state-of-the-art self-supervised learning models for visual defect detection
- Benchmark and compare the performance of multiple self-supervised models across diverse internal datasets representing different production scenarios
- Integrate data augmentation techniques into model training strategies to optimize performance and generalization
- Develop and maintain a shared library documenting trained models, methodologies, and best practices for organizational use
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program in Data Science, Robotics, or equivalent discipline
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Service-oriented, proactive, and autonomous work approach

Experience
No prior professional experience required; academic coursework in machine learning, computer vision, or related disciplines is advantageous.
Education
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Robotics, or equivalent field.
