Role & Responsibilities
- Measure and analyse preparation (manual) times at the PMA workstation and consolidate time-study data.
- Verify adherence to defined work procedures at the preparation workstation and document deviations.
- Synthesize measured preparation times, obtain validation from stakeholders and prepare authoritative time standards.
- Update the ERP system with newly validated preparation times and ensure data integrity.
- Support tracking and reporting of preparation-related KPIs and recommend process improvements to reduce cycle times.
- Identify root causes and propose pragmatic solutions to improve process reliability and decrease preparation times.
- Collaborate closely with logistics teams and the local (proximity) manager to align improvement initiatives and implementation.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's programme in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel skills for data analysis expected).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and document workstreams.
- Analytical mindset with capacity for synthesis and clear presentation of results.
- Adaptable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, good listener and able to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Skills
Experience
Previous internships, project work or practical exposure in industrial engineering, logistics operations, time-and-motion studies or process improvement are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Master's student (in progress) in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Management or equivalent.
