Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze current preparation processes and quantify the underlying problem using available operational and production data.
- Identify, define and compare alternative prioritization rules for picking and preparing manufacturing orders.
- Model and evaluate the impact of candidate solutions on service level, throughput and workload balance between workshops.
- Formulate a clear, data-driven recommendation with measurable KPIs and implementation considerations.
- Study and specify how the selected solution should be encoded within the Logistics Execution System (LES) preparation algorithms.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Management (technology/entrepreneurship), Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research or equivalent.
- Strong interest in logistics, supply‑chain optimization and decision‑support systems.
- Comfortable with data analysis and quantitative evaluation informed by operational datasets.
- Analytical mindset, intellectual rigor, autonomy and ability to produce clear, actionable recommendations.
Skills
Experience
No prior professional experience is required; academic projects, coursework or internships in logistics, optimization, operations research, manufacturing or data analysis are advantageous.
Education
Enrolled in a Master’s degree (Management with technology focus, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research or equivalent).
