Role & Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and allocate warehouse workload to meet service contracts and internal SLAs.
- Lead regular sector meetings and coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Manage work‑in‑progress, prioritise tasks and escalate critical issues to appropriate interlocutors.
- Operate first‑level support (helpdesk level 1) for logistics systems and user queries.
- Analyse and resolve stock discrepancies and operational anomalies.
- Plan and execute inventory cycles to meet defined targets and maintain stock integrity.
- Optimise stock occupancy and storage configuration to improve space utilisation.
- Propose and drive process and system improvements within the logistics perimeter.
- Ensure compliance with internal rules, procedures and health & safety regulations; report deviations.
- Contribute actively to service projects and accompany change management initiatives.
- Train team members on procedures and logistics management tools relevant to the area of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Federal diploma in logistics (Brevet fédéral) or equivalent vocational qualification.
- Minimum five years of professional experience in logistics, warehouse management or inventory control.
- Proven knowledge of stock management and inventory methodologies.
- Proficiency in SAP WM (Warehouse Management) and standard IT tools.
- Strong communication skills, initiative, and the ability to act decisively under pressure.
- Excellent prioritisation skills and a pragmatic, field‑oriented approach.
- Solid team spirit with high versatility and ability to train others.
- Willingness to work rotating 2x8 shift patterns.
Skills
Experience
At least five years of hands‑on experience in logistics or warehouse operations, including inventory management and cycle counting; demonstrated experience with SAP WM and leading operational teams in a production, distribution or luxury goods environment is preferred.
Education
Federal Diploma in Logistics (Brevet fédéral) or equivalent qualification.
