Rolex in Geneva seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage international shipments, customs and inventory for high-value timepieces.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute inbound and outbound shipments of finished watches and components, ensuring secure handling of high-value product.
  • Manage customs clearance, export/import documentation and compliance with Incoterms and international trade regulations.
  • Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders and 3PL partners to schedule pickups, track shipments and resolve transport exceptions.
  • Oversee inventory control processes across warehouses and distribution centres, including cycle counts, stock reconciliations and discrepancy investigations.
  • Maintain and optimise standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics, shipping and returns; implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs (OTD, lead times, inventory accuracy) and prepare operational reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with production, after‑sales, retail and quality teams to align supply movements with demand and service commitments.
  • Support audits, insurance processes and secure packaging protocols for high-value consignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in international logistics, distribution or freight operations, preferably within luxury goods, watchmaking or other high-value sectors.
  • Proven knowledge of customs procedures, Incoterms and import/export compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS) and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to handle confidential, high-value shipments.
  • Fluent in French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to liaise with external partners (carriers/3PLs), manage priorities and resolve operational exceptions under tight deadlines.
