Rolex in Geneva seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage international shipments, customs and inventory for high-value timepieces.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute inbound and outbound shipments of finished watches and components, ensuring secure handling of high-value product.
- Manage customs clearance, export/import documentation and compliance with Incoterms and international trade regulations.
- Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders and 3PL partners to schedule pickups, track shipments and resolve transport exceptions.
- Oversee inventory control processes across warehouses and distribution centres, including cycle counts, stock reconciliations and discrepancy investigations.
- Maintain and optimise standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics, shipping and returns; implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor logistics KPIs (OTD, lead times, inventory accuracy) and prepare operational reports for senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with production, after‑sales, retail and quality teams to align supply movements with demand and service commitments.
- Support audits, insurance processes and secure packaging protocols for high-value consignments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in international logistics, distribution or freight operations, preferably within luxury goods, watchmaking or other high-value sectors.
- Proven knowledge of customs procedures, Incoterms and import/export compliance.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP and warehouse management systems (WMS) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and ability to handle confidential, high-value shipments.
- Fluent in French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with external partners (carriers/3PLs), manage priorities and resolve operational exceptions under tight deadlines.

3–5 years of progressive experience in international logistics, freight forwarding or distribution operations, ideally within the luxury or watchmaking industries and handling high‑value goods.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or equivalent; professional certifications (e.g., APICS/CSCP) desirable.
