Role & Responsibilities
- Act as SAP key user for chemical product master data: create, maintain and update article records and associated documentation.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for storage, handling and transport of chemical products and hazardous waste across the Geneva and Fribourg sites.
- Manage inventory operations: monitor stock levels, drive stock accuracy and conduct rigorous inventory reconciliations.
- Serve as Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser for transport (OCS, IATA) and liaise with carriers and internal stakeholders to guarantee safe shipments.
- Monitor performance indicators and lead continuous improvement initiatives, proposing concrete process optimisations.
- Lead or participate in logistics projects (SAP enhancements, barcode/scan solutions, site developments) to modernise tools and workflows.
- Provide operational support and temporary cover across the logistics function, including dock management, order preparation, deliveries, transport organisation, and special-waste classification, preparation, disposal (OMoD), registry upkeep and invoice processing.
Qualifications
- Federal diploma in logistics (brevet fédéral) or Swiss CFC in logistics with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Valid category B driving licence.
- Certified training as Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (ADR, OCS, IATA) — or willingness to obtain certification; forklift (cariste) licence and ADR/SDR permit considered an asset.
- Proven experience managing logistics in environments containing chemical products and/or hazardous waste.
- Working knowledge of chemical safety data sheets (FDS/SDS), hazard identification and chemical risk management.

Minimum three years' demonstrable experience in logistics roles, ideally within environments that handle chemicals and hazardous waste; experience acting as or supporting a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser is highly desirable.
Education
Federal diploma in logistics (brevet fédéral) or CFC (Swiss Federal VET certificate) in logistics, or equivalent vocational qualification.
