Role & Responsibilities
- Develop a non-destructive testing method for weld bead depth inspection and quality assurance
- Implement and optimize the control process, including equipment setup and fixture development
- Identify and document process conditions necessary to achieve targeted capability metrics
- Conduct experimental analysis to assess method robustness and viability for manufacturing scale-up
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Robotics, Microtechnology, or equivalent field
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and metrology principles
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and analyze experimental testing
- Strong organizational and analytical skills

Experience
Currently pursuing advanced studies in mechanical engineering, materials science, or related discipline with practical exposure to experimental methodologies.
Education
Master's degree program (in-progress) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Robotics, Microtechnology, or equivalent.
