Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop a non-destructive testing method for weld bead depth inspection and quality assurance
  • Implement and optimize the control process, including equipment setup and fixture development
  • Identify and document process conditions necessary to achieve targeted capability metrics
  • Conduct experimental analysis to assess method robustness and viability for manufacturing scale-up

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Robotics, Microtechnology, or equivalent field
  • Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods and metrology principles
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and analyze experimental testing
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
