Rolex internship in Bienne: join the Movements division for a six-month cleanroom contamination control project.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis of current cleanliness standards and existing processes related to cleanroom contamination control
  • Determine particle contamination rates present in movements during assembly operations
  • Identify primary sources of contamination in the assembly environment
  • Propose and evaluate corrective improvements to achieve specified cleanliness objectives
  • Prepare a comprehensive final report documenting findings and recommendations

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Microtechnology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Systems, or equivalent discipline
  • Available for a six-month full-time commitment beginning September 1, 2026, or by mutual agreement
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities and strong synthesis skills
  • Meticulous, methodical, and detail-oriented approach to technical work
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and effective as both an independent contributor and collaborative team member
